Religion and Institution Free Jesus is the Story of my journey through the convoluted labyrinth that men have created in the name of Christ and living has His followers. Finally coming to the conclusion that placing faith in Christ and living as His apprentice as taught by Jesus, His Apostles, or that was lived out by His disciples within the pages of the Testament has nothing to do with religion, institutions, hierarchical leadership, rules, human traditions or programs. It is simply all about genuine loving relationship with Father, brothers and sisters in Christ, and loving our neighbors.
I have only recently committed to living life in Christ as an active member of His Body the Ecclesia completely free of commitment to or membership in an institutional church and free of religion.
I am discovering however, that is that it is one thing to get out of religion and institutionalism and another to get it out of you. Or as Rob McAlpine puts it in his blog “Detoxing From Church!”
It is my prayer that this part of my story that has in many ways just begun encourages and strengthens everyone who reads it in his or her relationship with Jesus. I hope you discover what it genuinely means to be his Disciple/Apprentice/Follower and to find His chosen place and function for you in His Body and your understanding of Fathers love increases exponentially.

Hey!
Really like the blog. I'm pretty pumped to see T. Austin Sparks website up here. The School of Christ rocked my world.
Jason: Thanks for the encouragement yes I like T. Austin Sparks a lot too. The fact that he was not not well received by the majority of his peers is particularly encouraging to me. Most importantly I learn a great deal about the preeminence of Christ and challenges the areas in my own life in which he isn't.
